Concluding our nighttime focused year we bring the sun in. Our 2015 Ensemble in Residence, Rubiks Collective joins us in a dynamic musical exploration that takes us from the stunning Luciano Berio Folk Songs (1964) through to a world premiere by Michael Bakrncev, that will highlight Rubiks Collective as soloists in their brilliant virtuosity.

Rubik’s Collective - 2015 Ensemble in Residence
Forest Collective’s 2015 Ensemble in Residence, Rubik’s Collective, is a modular ensemble, which was founded in 2014 at the Australian National Academy of Music. Its members have performed in both Australian and international festivals such as Sydney Festival, Bang on a Can Summer Festival, So Percussion Summer Institute, Adelaide International Cello Festival, and the Banff Summer of the Arts Festival. Rubik’s are dedicated to the proliferation and celebration of contemporary music in Australia in all of its contexts.
